on XX/XX/XXXX I wrote to Trident Asset Management to request a Debt validation. I did not hear from them for over 30 days, so I then wrote them again requesting the debt validation. The second time I sent the letter certified mail. Tracking number XXXX. Tracking showed that they received the second letter on XX/XX/XXXX. It has been over 44 days and still no response from Trident Asset. No letter to say that they received my letters, no debt validation, or anything. I have never received anything from them. No letter, email, call, fax, or text to let me know that I had a potential debt with them. I just noticed it on my credit report. This account was placed on my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX, and it is reporting for the sum of {$610.00}.

They send me copies of delinquencies etc. but no proof showing that this account is accurate nor belongs to me.

After sending repeated correspondences to a creditor called Trident Assets Management to have my account removed from their database, which is being reported to all 3 credit bureaus as a collection, which is no avail. I have repeated sent letter after letter to have them address this matter only to have the say that I owe them. I have asked for valid proof that I owe them, which I also asked for a valid signature with validating this alleged debt. I have exhausted all my options other than go to small claims court.It is my hope that CFPB could assist me in resolving this matter in quick and decisive response.

I received a letter from Trident Asset Management stating that they sold the account that I previous filed a complaint on with the CFPB. In the letter that was sent to me it says that the account was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It fails to inform me that I have the right to dispute, It fails to inform me of the date that XXXX purchased the debt, It failed to inform me that I have the right to request validation for the assumed debt. The letter sent to me only informs me of the original creditor, the original creditors account number, current credit who owns the account now, balance due, and Trident Acc number. The information that is required by law is left out.
The letter was written on XX/XX/2021 so I can only assume that the account was sold to XXXX on or before XX/XX/2021. Trident/Orion had to have a letter mailed out to me within ( 5 ) days after XXXX purchased the account with the necessary information included in the letter that is required by federal law. I previously filed a complaint with the CFPB about this account requesting that the account was not being validated by Trident, I never received a validation, instead they sold the account to their sister company named XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
It is now past the ( 5 ) day window allowed by federal law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other government entities that set forth and enforce these laws and regulations that has to be followed.
I have requested for debt validation numerous times and Trident has refused to validate the assumed debt.

Also, when I called the company they responded that XXXX did not send them all of the verifying evidence to confirm each account is unverified.
