Complaint What Happened	I tried contacting the original creditor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) to pay a debt in full. The original creditor told me the amount I owed was {$450.00}, same as what is showing on their bank APP but different from the amount reported to the credit bureau 's. XXXX told me I could not pay them directly but was told to contact The Best Service Company and make any payments directly to them. I notified XXXX that according to a letter I received from Best Service Company, I owe {$540.00}. XXXX told me that they were going to correct that by notifying Best Service Company of an extra payment they had received, and accepted, from me after they had already transferred the debt over to them. I contacted The Best Service Company and they had told me the amount owed is for {$550.00} ( different from all amounts I've been told so far, as well as the amount shown on their letter ). After explaining that the amount they are charging is incorrect, they kept disagreeing and told me they received information from XXXX saying the amount they have is indeed correct ; even after XXXX told me differently. I am being told too many different figures by these two companies and I have been attempting at settling this debt for months now so that I can get my credit in good standing.
