XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) The company has two different accounts numbers on this tept to collect a debt notice, Amount said I owe XXXX dollars.Stating they are a debt collector, Trying to collect a debt from me i owe XXXX XXXX, I've never heard of this company until now, I have heard of XXXX XXXX and paid XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX for many long years without consciously knowing, I a natural living person was volunteering paying a bill/debt that was already prepaid according to UCC-9-307 ) location of the debtor also ( 18 USC-8 ) 31-USC 3123 ) states the United States government pledged to pay debts, therefore the consumer can discharge/offset debt and it doesn't have to be paid in legal tender see 31 USC 5118 ) There is no Lawful money, only dept notes therefore I can't pay debt with a debt. I, the consumer didn't give any debt collector permission of a court of competent 15-USC 1692- A-P ) THEREFORE I ask the dept collector mention above closed this debt in good standing with a positive balances on all three credit reporting agencies and any other credit reporting agencies, UCC 3-605 ) It's unlawful to demand payments. Banking act 1933.

Convergent Outsourcing is attempting to collect a debt that I don't owe in the amount of {$73.00}. I never opened an account with XXXX and not sure why this has showed up on my credit report. This is a case of identity theft and is a violation of my rights 15 US Code 1681 A4 There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. 15 US Code 1 A ) the consumer authorizes the agency to provide such report to such person. Convergent Outsourcing has no right to report on my credit report. Convergent Outsourcing and XXXX should not have any of my personal information. 15 US code 1692d ( 2 ) The use of obscene or profane language or language the natural consequence of which is to abuse the hearer or reader. Convergent Outsourcing and XXXX are in violation of contacting me this is harassment and abusive practices. This is a violation of rights and Convergent Outsourcing failed to send me a debt validation letter before placing this account on my credit for that Convergent Outsourcing should be investigated and shut down as the economy is hard enough living during post XXXX XXXX. Furthermore whomever really owes this debt should be given a grace period before the debt is just placed on their credit report since XXXX hit the world out of no where and people are trying to repair the financial damage it's caused the debt is only for {$73.00} but the negative impact it has on someone's credit staying for 7 years is crazy and should not be allowed! I am pretty sure there's a way to work out a payment schedule that both the creditor and the person responsible can figure out.

And then I started really inspecting it and looked at the dates so I called the actual company who they were supposed to be collecting the deft for and I dont owe them anything and didnt owe them anything. I called Convergent Outsourcing numerous times about a collection account that they have placed on my file. Originally, the account was removed because they couldn't verify it but now it is back. It is for a Utility Bill in Florida. I have never resided in Florida, furthermore when I spoke to someone at XXXX XXXX I was advised that the account was opened but they never got a copy of my ID. This is defamation of character and using scare tactics to attempt to force me to pay a debt I do not own. I even supplied them with notarized information stating that the debt does not belong to me but they continue to report it on my credit report.

I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing. In XX/XX/2018 Convergent Outsourcing contacted me about what turns out was an old XXXX bill for {$750.00}, which was incorrect way back a long time ago. I told the representative, who sounded foreign, that I do not owe that because it was discharged several years prior because I had contacted XXXX a long time ago and they told me it had been discharged. He began to raise his voice and tell me I was wrong and yell. I told him I wasn't paying it and they need to remove it because it should not be on my credit report. He kept talking over me and threatened to report it on my credit, which they did immediately. I told him not to ever call me or contact me in any way again. Since then, it keeps getting reported to look like there are late payments and at first glance it looks like it's an account that was opened in XXXX of 2018 because they actually had reported it then. It has been updated every month since XX/XX/2018 and looks like late payments. I do not owe these people and I want it removed from any credit bureau they have reported it to. I was so upset after this guy 's harassing call, I was in tears. I have enough on my plate with health problems and stress in my family. Please, please help me get this removed. I have read other peoples ' issues in dealing with this company and some are very similar to mine and worse. Thank you.

I sent a dispute letter to Convergent Outsourcing ( creditor ) on XX/XX/2018. This letter stated that the information they provided was incorrect and the negative mark on my credit report was being falsely reported by them. I also asked in this letter for them to provide me with evidence bearing my signature, showing that I have or ever had some contractual obligation to pay them.
A little over a week later, they responded with their " evidence '' and it was insufficient. The address that they had listed on the account was an address that I have never occupied.
So, after receiving their letter I sent them a second letter on XX/XX/2018. This letter let them know that the information they are reporting is inaccurate and they have failed to show any alleged contract or instrument bearing my signature. I asked them once again to please show me any viable evidence that this account is being reported accurately, it has been over 31 days and I have not received a response.

A third or fourth party called Convergent has contacted me on a debt I do n't owe. In fact the company they say they represent has been bankrupt for a number of years now, I have to assume they got my information from that company which I did do business with about a decade ago. It was a bank. I had an account with them until they went out of business but it ended with no debt. I merely had a checking account with them until it closed. I suspect this is a very shady company and I am concerned my info is being sold on the open market illegally.

CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING , INC must have bought out another company with intention to add an account that was closed and removed off my XXXX credit report for fraudulent reasons in 2013. Then updated the information and put it on my XXXX credit report this year. This is not the first time it happen. It keeps popping up and removed ever time I file a complaint.

About a week ago, I received a letter in the mail stating that I owe {$560.00} to XXXX from a collection agency by the name of Convergent. A year ago I had the same situation with a different agency stating the same thing and found out my mother had used my social security under false pretenses, and they got into contact with her and she did pay off the debt. The company did call me back to report this and now this company claims that it was not paid. I believe this to be a scam, as they are stating on the letter that they will settle for XXXX on the letter, but will need {$450.00} to be paid in full. Their is also to addresses on the letter, XXXX from XXXX, XXXX XXXX and then a P.O. box of XXXX, XXXX XXXX. I am a XXXX of XXXX and this is causing me emotional distress, since this was settle last year and the account was shut down and they have complete access to her. Please contact me as soon as possible.

They call multi times a day. I have already requested the information on said debt be mailed to me as I have NEVER received a single bill for this debt since I stopped service with said company they are collecting on. And the account was closed two years ago. I have n't heard a thing or ever got a final bill from company. And all a sudden they want my FULL social and address and all that. I told them once to send me mail on behave of the company before I would talk anything about the debt as I want to protect my identity. They refused, and are now calling me everyday and if I do n't speak to them they will keep calling like 5 times a day. On top of that they call using ant automatic system that tells me to wait on the next avaible rep as if I called them. I 'm sorry but if they gon na call me they need to speak with me directly not make me wait on hold for them! That 's rude and illegal at that!
