In XXXX of 2020 I had my credit pulled while looking for a mortgage and saw accounts that were a result of Identity theft. These accounts have been reported to the credit bureaus and to date have not been removed. I would like to complain because I am a victim and the companies have yet to remove the information.

I am reporting two issues with the collection company, Carter Young Inc.
1. I requested validation of an account reporting on my credit report that I was unaware of in XX/XX/. The company did not validate the account and the account is still reporting on my credit report. This is a violation. I have attached to this complaint a copy of the validation letter and proof of receipt by Carter Young Inc. via certified mail.
2. Instead of validating the account, the company deleted the account with XXXX and XXXX and then re-reported the same account with XXXX and XXXX changing the account number and the last active date. This is the exact same account that they deleted and re-reported with different information. Also, this account is reporting several items differently with all three credit bureaus such as the account number, the open date, and the last active date. There are several violations with this account. I have attached a copy of their reported information on all three of my credit reports in XX/XX/ and in XX/XX/ to show the changing of the account numbers and to show how several pieces of information is being reported differently with each credit bureau. So many violations!

OnXX/XX/2013, this debt for {$68.00} appeared on my credit report. I have no knowledge of this debt. I am requesting a signed confirmation with my signature that I opened this account. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681g I have the right to demand that you disclose to me all of the documents that you have recorded and retained in your file at the time of this request concerning the accounts that you are reporting on my credit report. Please don't respond to my request by saying that this account has been verified. Send me copies of the documents that you have in your files that were used to verify this account. If you do not have any documentation in your files to verify the accuracy of this disputed account then please delete them immediately as required under Section 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( A ) ( i ). By publishing these inaccurate and unverified items on my credit report and distributing them to 3rd parties you are damaging my reputation and credit worthiness. Under the FCRA 15 U.S.C. 1681i, all unverified accounts must be promptly deleted. Therefore, if you are unable to provide me with a copy of the verifiable proof that you have on file for the account listed within 15 days of receipt of this then you must remove the account from my credit report.

Carter-Young INC ( the debt collection agency in Georgia ) has been inaccurately reporting to my credit report for years. Since XXXX, Ive been disputing this apartment complex as not my debt. Theyve completely ignored me and proceeded to harass me so much for collecting me, that I had to block them. In XXXX, during the pandemic, I became literally XXXX. I had know choice but to do a pay to delete. The apartment complex accepted my pay to delete in a 3-way call with Carter-Young and the debt was supposed to be ERASED from my credit report. 20 days later, I get an alerts saying I paid down my debt and that the account is still opened. Luckily i have emails, documents, and other proofs proving that the account was supposed to be deleted. Thank God that I got a pay to delete letter on the same day as the call through email. Im tired of them haunting me. Why break me down when Im already broken??? People are DYING!
