A pressure gauge shall be installed to show the pressure drop across the filters. This gauge shall be marked to show the pressure drop at which the filters require cleaning or replacement. Filters shall be replaced or cleaned whenever the pressure drop across them becomes excessive or whenever the air flow through the face of the booth falls below that specified in Table G-10. a) Spray Paint Booth: On or about January 27th, 2016 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards by failing to installing a gauge that will show pressure drop across filters to ensure filters are replaced or cleaned to ensure airflow through the booth. |
