Complaint What Happened |
XXXX XXXX, with no warning, unilaterally decided to block all customers accounts from transferring even minimal amounts out. Because of that, I nearly bounced a check elsewhere.
In trying to resolve it, they requested a proof of the account where the money came from which I provided. They said I should have transfer availability within 24 hours. Its been 3 times that, they refuse to let me transfer a miniscule amount, they refuse to let me talk to their fraud department and they refuse to let me talk to a supervisor.
I am all for fraud prevention. But there is no fraud, there was no warning. This is just shoddy business practices.
I will be closing my account as soon as I can without incurring a fee but I have no idea how much longer my money will be held hostage because of this pitiful excuse of a bank.
