Debt Validation Request I am writing in response to your recent communication regarding an alleged debt you claim I owe. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I am requesting validation of this debt. I am exercising my rights to ensure that I have complete and accurate information about this debt before making any decisions.

I have recently been looking into repairing my credit. While doing so, I came across a collection on my credit from Ability Recovery Services which stated that I have a balance of {$2400.00}. I have no knowledge of this debt, It has been on my credit reportedly since XX/XX/XXXX. I have not received one letter or call about this debt. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a certified letter requesting the validation of this debt. On XX/XX/XXXX is when they sent me a letter responding with a breakdown of charges related to this debt, no contract binding by me and this creditor, no signatures exchanged, or nothing of the sort. I am not aware of this debt.

I am filing a complaint against Ability Recovery Service ( ARS ). This collection agency started reporting an item from XXXX XXXX on my XXXX and XXXX credit reports some time in XX/XX/XXXX, as noted on XXXX credit report # 1, dated XX/XX/XXXX The date of first delinquency is reporting as XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX credit report # 2, dated XX/XX/XXXX, you can see that the item is no longer reporting. But on XXXX credit report # 3, dated XX/XX/XXXX the item has re-appeared with a new account number and a new date of first delinquency. This is a serious violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act pertaining to Section 623 ( 5 ) ( A ) and has caused me a hardship with obtaining a home loan due to the fact that the item is reporting as n new collection less than a year old.

I stated several times I never received statements from this company regarding balances and ending balances that were owed. They remove and add to my credit report as if it is new debt but it is not. This debt is almost over XXXX XXXX XXXX. They never provided me with what was needed after calling them in the past. Before this point I contacted the hospital and told them they needed to bill my insurance since I had it and they refused to so.
