This debt collector engaged in abusive, deceptive, and unfair practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didn't agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it. More so they didn't follow the proper 5 step validation procedure which make this unfair practices. According to the FDCPA I'm entitled to XXXX dollars per violation and clearly they violated my rights. On XX/XX/year> my account was assigned to a XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) that I did not authorize. The original organization preforms surgical procedures, and prior to any procedure the company has to go through your insurance to find out any co-pays, and you are responsible for paying prior to the procedure, which I did. If the original company that performed the procedure didn't go through verification the procedure wouldn't have been performed for non-payment or would have made me pay the full balance up front. Not sure where the process of filing insurance went wrong. I have repeatedly asked to get this matter resolved. Based on Consumer Fair Debt Collection of Section 15 USC -1692c the collection agency is reporting an account of non-payment to the credit bureaus which is against the law per section listed being that I didn't give permission for this company to receive any information nor to talk with me about the following debt listed by the original creditor XXXX XXXX

I sent a letter to Merchants Adjustment Service to validate an account they are reporting on my credit report with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The certified mail letter was received by Merchants Adjustment Service on XXXX via USPS tracking number XXXX. I have not received appropriate validation documents such as the assignment agreement between the original creditor and Merchants Adjustment Service, the original contract from the original creditor that the collection agency should have on file, a record of the payment history, etc, which I requested in the letter. The information being reported on my credit report is incorrect. The company failed to validate this debt and the account is still reporting on my credit report and reporting incorrectly.
