29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) On or about 03/31/2023 - 305 Oak Street, Talladega, AL, employees tearing off an existing shingled roofing system were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet. Alabama Roofing and Sheet Metal Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1372145, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/05/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 101 George Wallace Drive, Gadsden, AL 35903. |
